A RENAISSANCE to Remember

Let me start by saying that I don't claim to be part of the Beyhive. However, I would consider myself a fan of Beyoncé, especially after she released RENAISSANCE last summer. I'm a huge fan of disco music so getting a whole album of bops was truly a gift.

I didn't think I'd be super interested in going to see her in concert since I'm never excited to be surrounded by a large group of people, but when Twitter started buzzing about the RENAISSANCE tour dates in January, I just couldn't help myself. I entered the lottery to get tickets for Las Vegas, Seattle, and New Orleans. Las Vegas was the first to hit my inbox so that was the plan: I was going to see Beyoncé in concert in Las Vegas.

Many concert ideas were added to my Pinterest and I probably ended up spending a bit more than I should have on my final look, but it was so worth it. I wanted to shine in sequins from head to toe. Before I knew it, August was here and I was headed back to the desert to dance the night away at Club Renaissance.

Aside from the amazing performance of Beyoncé and her team, my stay at Paris Hotel Las Vegas was fabulous. I had dinner at Vanderpump à Paris, watched the Bellagio Water Show across the street while having lunch at Mon Ami Gambi, and did a little shopping at The Shops at Crystals. What a fantastic weekend!

I'm thinking of heading back to the desert soon to see Usher.
