Hi, I’m Sable.

Stylishly Sable is where I document my experiences exploring the fashion, beauty, marketing, and creative industries through events, conversations, and community.

After moving from New Orleans to Seattle, I immersed myself in the local fashion industry, serving as the Lead Graphic Designer for Seattle Fashion Week from 2014–2016 and later the Communications Chair with Fashion Group International's Seattle Region from 2017–2019. Those experiences gave me a firsthand look at what it takes to build creative communities... and where many of them fall short.

Today, I attend industry events with a different perspective. I'm less interested in collecting business cards and more interested in understanding how meaningful professional communities are built through intentional relationships, shared opportunities, and genuine conversations.

That philosophy ultimately inspired Sequin Soirée, where I curate events designed to bring fashion, beauty, and creative professionals together in ways that foster thoughtful discussion, authentic connections, and career advocacy.
